Membership in the Palm Beach Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is by invitation only. Many times new members will join based on the recommendation of existing members, but you may also directly inquire about membership to our bailliage on this website. The number of members accepted each year depends upon the current membership, and sometimes there can be a waiting list. All prospective members are required to attend an event before joining so that they may find out what the Palm Beach Chaîne is all about. Once an application has been submitted and approved, new members are inducted at our Annual Induction Gala which is held each December at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. Each new member will receive a diploma and appropriate ribbon signifying their official membership in the organization. All members wear their ribbons when attending all events.

 

Members enjoy the camaraderie of good friends and the experience of fine dining at Palm Beach's top dining establishments. As a member, you get priority seating at events (which usually sell out), as well as discounted pricing.  When attending events, the menus will be customized and unique - we never have dishes that are served off the regular menu. This allows each chef to show us his/her creative culinary capabilities.  Our schedule includes formal black-tie events, as well as "amical" events which are more casual, and may be a luncheon or dinner.

 

There are two types of membership:

Professional Member: classified as a member who owns or works in either a hotel or restaurant, such as  Hotel Owner, General Manager or Chef.

Non-Professional Member: classified as an amateur member who does not own or work in a hotel or restaurant. All other professions and business sectors fall into this member category.

 

Membership is at two levels: National and Local. Every member must join the United States Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, and then they may choose which local bailliage (chapter) to join. National dues statements will be mailed separately from national headquarters. The Palm Beach Chaîne's local dues allow us to maintain our wine cellar, from which wines are served to all of our members at each event.

 

Benefits of Membership:

When you join the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, you are joining an international organization that allows you to attend events all over the world. When you travel within the United States, just contact the local bailliage (chapter) to find out about events they might be holding, or what restaurants they recommend. As a member you also have the opportunity to be part of the Ambassador Corps. When traveling abroad, you only have to let the Corps know when and where you will be traveling, and they will get you in touch with the local bailliage overseas. There is no better way to get to know the local culture of a foreign country than through dining with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs abroad!

 

There are also regional, national and international meetings and conferences that our members may attend. It is a great way to meet other like-minded members, who appreciate great food and wine, from all over the world.

 

The Palm Beach Chaîne organizes Chaîne trips, both in the U.S. and abroad. As a member you have priority booking to these extracurricular events.
